Add people
Section titled “Add people”The Add people flow lets you add participants and staff to your project. You can type or paste into the table, import from a file, and choose whether to send invitation emails and when to send them.
Opening Add people
Section titled “Opening Add people”From the People tab (Participants or Staff), click Invite people in the menu. The Add people card opens with a table where you enter or import people.
How to add people
Section titled “How to add people”- Type in the table – Enter first name, last name, and email in the rows. You can set role (e.g. Participant, Staff) and, for participants, group and authentication (e.g. Magic link, Email & password).
- Paste from a spreadsheet – Copy rows from Excel or another spreadsheet and paste into the table. Columns are matched by order.
- Import from a file – Click Import in the menu and upload a CSV or spreadsheet file. A template is available to download so you can prepare the file with the right columns.
When a row has a valid first name, last name, and email, the Add people button becomes available. Fix any errors shown in red (e.g. missing name, invalid email, duplicate) using the short tooltips on hover.
Send invitations
Section titled “Send invitations”- Send invitations (checkbox) – If checked, invitation emails are sent (immediately or at the scheduled time). If unchecked, people are still added to the project and can sign in once they know how to access the platform.
- Schedule – Click to choose a date and time for sending invitations. If you don’t schedule, invitations are sent as soon as you click Add people (when Send invitations is checked).
After adding
Section titled “After adding”When you click Add people, the people are added to the project. If you left Send invitations on, they receive an email (now or at the scheduled time). You can then add more people or close the card to return to the People list.
